About
Last Updated: June 19, 2008
Welcome to my anime-related blog, Nigorimasen! From May 2006 until January 2, 2007, this blog was hosted on a Wordpress.com subdomain and was called “Part-Time Otaku” - it’s still up if you want to check it out. The current name (”Don’t misread it!”) comes from one of the characters in Zettai Shonen, Sukawara Akira (須河原 晶), a public access news reporter who uses the phrase within her on-air introductions because the kanji in her family name can be misread.
About Myself
Currently, I am attending college majoring in philosophy and an intention to apply to business or law school. I volunteer at the campus radio station and used to host a morning music program on there; I also was president of the Davis Anime Club from March 2007 to June 2008. My general interests outside of anime and Japan include politics, economics, movies, video games, puzzles, sports (esp. baseball and soccer), and linguistics.
